Once again, the Cub Scouts of Pack 309 had a great time and
learned some things too! At our "Litter to
Glitter" pack meeting, we learned about recycling and the
environment. The scouts made recycled paper from news
paper, made bird feeders from recycled water bottles and
coat hangers, made kindling from dryer lint, played
recycling bowling and ran a recycling sorting relay race. A
great time was had by all, and each scout earned another
patch for their patch vests, this one with a recycling logo
on it! Flag ceremony
